If you’re like me and use the Gregorian calendar for your date-keeping needs, then you probably woke up this morning and exclaimed “Holy crap, it’s December already!” Strange but true!
For me personally, this date marks the unofficial start of my first ever real winter. You must understand, I’ve lived my entire life in a tropical climate. I’m used to spending winter on a beach with bikini-clad women waving palm fronds in my face. Now that I’m in New York, I’ll have to settle for them using Elm branches instead. So please, keep me in your prayers.
(I’ll prepare an alternate Tumblr Tuesday for any of you in the Southern Hemisphere who are offended by the weather patterns mentioned here.)
